I went to the Gold Dust Saloon during the Pueblo "Chile & Frijoles Fest" of 2008. The street is blocked off and parking is at designated areas. I parked at the west side of town and would recommend using the east lots instead. West of the bridge turns into a pretty rough area and leaving ones motorcycle under a bridge is not the best idea. I believe the parking areas to the east of town are better and in all likelihood a lot safer. Lots of people do come to this event so expect it to be busy. There is a Jalapeno eating contest, the Holy Frijoles cooking contest and you can help judge the "Best Bean Dip in Pueblo" contest.

The "Gold Dust Saloon" is bigger then it looks in the picture to the right. Of course seeing as I went during a major Pueblo, CO event the restaurant was very busy. However the wait was only 10-15 minutes and the waitress was prompt and pleasant to talk with. The d├ęcor is rustic, which adds to the appeal.

The cost of the food is well within reason at $7.25 for a sandwich that is big in portion and very tasty at that and the most expensive burger on the menu will only set you back $10.19 and comes with fries.

Food came out quickly but at no time were we rushed to make room for the next people. This establishment has a lot of character and is a good eat. So check it out the next time your in Pueblo, CO.
