Riding Boot Care
I just thought I would post on something I came across by accident to use to waterproof my Sidi riding boots. Happen to find it in our skiing supply box....so far it has worked very good.
The Original Beeswax Waterproofing
Sno-Seal
All season Leather Protection
My take:
Seals up the stitching on my Sidi boots to not allow water to seep in. This is great for my new Adventure riding style where I have to cross many many creeks and large puddles which otherwise would cause water to slowly seep in. I don't know about you but I hate wet feet and socks.
So far it has kept my feet dry, even when blasting through stuff like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DbzVeQ0JG4U
And yes that is me in the video.
I have no idea if this is even still made, probably 15 years old, but I'm sure they sell something to waterproof snowboarding boots and this is what this was bought for.
So check your stores, or ski shops...I would of never thought to consider something like this otherwise.
