Where is It:
This is located just north of Mt Herman Rd and to the West.
Google Map:
Tracks I recorded
GPX File:
FR300v
Video:
FR300v
How Challenging:
I would rank this from a 2 to higher
My Take:
This area is a real mix of older Forest roads. There are water crossings, steep hill climbs (turned around at), Gates to private property, and trails with lots of roots. This area needs more exploring, as I said its a real mix of trails back in there and it is poorly marked (not marked at all once you go in) what is FR300v or what is FR300u.
Remember to stay the trail, but in this case stay to the old worn trails...they are obvious but for all I know are old social routes. My Delorme shows that it can connect to FR300f to the north too which I do recall as you first go in and go down there is a trail to the right...maybe this is it!!!
